Our aircraft maintenance division, Interflight, primarily provides full-service maintenance solutions for Hawker private jets. We also provide a range of maintenance services for other aircraft types in the UK.

Our range of services for Hawker aircraft includes full base maintenance for scheduled inspections, line maintenance, service plan support, refurbishment coordination, procurement of spare parts and pre-buy/survey services and expertise. Interflight’s highly experienced team of engineers can either travel internationally to clients’ aircraft or service planes from our newly refurbished hangar at London Biggin Hill Airport.

SOLUTION

InterFlight was called upon to get things moving when the aircraft landed following high levels of vibration, with no local maintenance support or nearby European MROs available to help. Our experienced technical support team immediately dispatched an engineer to debrief the crew and inspect the aircraft. Realising the required repair work exceeded the airport’s capabilities, we swiftly secured hangar space in Annecy (despite the FBO having initially failed to locate any at the airport) and obtained authorisation from the Civil Aviation Authority and the aircraft manufacturer to transport the plane for repair. Ground service equipment was transported from the UK and two additional engineers travelled by road to prepare the aircraft for a ferry flight to our state-of-the-art maintenance hangar in Biggin Hill. Working closely with the manufacturer to urgently source the necessary parts, our team of expert engineers was then able to quickly repair the plane and return it to service with minimal downtime.
