The client needed to be able to fly between Japan and Singapore at short notice for three months, allowing him to manage both projects without spending any more time on site than needed. Scheduled flights weren’t an option, due to unnecessary stopovers and lack of last-minute availability, while charter flights couldn’t be set up quickly because of longer lead times to obtain permits in Asia. Leasing Director Gavin Copus worked closely with the client to design a bespoke leasing solution, sourcing an aircraft to be at the CEO’s disposal with crew, sleeping facilities and range for non-stop flights between the two locations. Leasing an aircraft made it easier to quickly secure permits and allowed the client to create a flexible schedule that minimised unnecessary time on the ground in each location.
